iOS and iPadOS have a special folder to save downloaded files and you can find it via the Files app.
First, locate the Files app on your iPhone/iPad. The fastest way to do this is to use a search engine. From the center of the Home screen , swipe down, and then type Files . Tap Files in the search results.
Tap Browse below and tap On My iPhone or On My iPad depending on the device you use.
The list in Locations will vary according to the app you install, but your device will always have On My [device name] .
You will then see a directory listing. In general, most people save files to the Downloads folder , so tap it.
You will see a list of downloaded files. During the download process, you can save the file to a folder instead of Downloads. If you don't see the file you're looking for, tap the Back arrow in the upper left, then tap another folder.
Once you locate the desired download file, you can tap it to preview it or hold it to open a pop-up menu. You can then move, copy or rename the file along with other operations.
Finally, just exit the Files app. The next time you open this app, the file you're looking for will be right where you placed it before.
