How to align correctly in Word to print beautifully
To print out beautiful pages, before printing, you should align your Word documents properly. In the administrative documents alignment is extremely important, so please follow along with the instructions below for how to align correctly:
Provisions on standard alignment according to Decree 30/2020 / ND-CP
According to Decree 30/2020 / ND-CP , the left margin is always wider for binding, the remaining margins are as follows (for A4 paper size):
Top margin: From 20-25 mm (2cm - 2.5 cm) from the upper edge.
Bottom margin: 20-25 mm (2cm - 2.5 cm) from the lower edge.
Left margin: 30 to 35 mm (3cm - 3.5 cm) from the left edge.
Right margin: 15 to 20 mm (1.5cm - 2cm) from the right edge.
First, in order to align correctly, you need to convert units to centimeters . Default after installing Word will be in inches. Then follow the article below:

Step 1: At the main interface of Word, click Tab Layout , drag the Page Setup group and click the down arrow to open the Page Setup dialog box. The fastest way is to drag the mouse cursor close to the left or right ruler bar, double click.
Step 2: The Page Setup dialog box appears, enter the following parameters:
Top (top): 2cm.
Bottom (bottom): 2cm.
Left (left): 3cm.
Right (right): 2cm.
If the text is too thick, you should enter the right margin from 3 - 3.5cm, while only a few sheets, only enter from 2.5 - 3cm, the text will be more beautiful.
Step 3: Switch to Tab Paper to select the paper size, in the Paper size section select the paper size that you want to print. Here select A4 , if you want to keep all these settings for later times, click Set As defaut, select Yes . Next click OK to save.
Instructions for viewing margins before printing
When you want to check if the margin is correct before printing, click File> Print , then view the margin. If not, then return to the Page Setup dialog box to readjust it, and if it is okay, print or continue editing.
