There are cases where you get messages on WhatsApp in a language you don't understand, and the right thing to do at the moment is to find a way to convert them to your native language. Copying and pasting that message into the Google Translate app is a simple way we often do in those situations. So what if you want to reply to that message? The constant transition from one application to another causes trouble and takes a lot of time. Is there any solution to this problem?

Google Translate for Android
Google Translate for Chrome
Google has added the Tap to Translate feature - "Touch to translate" to the Google Translate or Google Translate app . This new feature helps you translate and respond to WhatsApp messages right on that app. The following is an article that teaches you how to translate messages on WhatsApp easily with Tap to Translate function.
Use the Google Translate Tap to Translate feature
To translate messages on WhatsApp using Google Translate's Tap to Translate feature, you need to download and install the Google Translate app on your Android device. If you already have this app, make sure it has been updated to the latest version, then follow the instructions below:
The Tap to Translate feature is disabled by default so you must enable it to use it. To do this, open the Google Translate app and go to Settings . Then select Tap to Translate and put a checkmark in Enable Tap to Translate.
Suppose you receive a message on WhatsApp from a foreign friend and you do not understand the content of the message. Just press and hold the message to select and touch the copy icon at the top of the screen.
Then, the Google Translate icon will appear on the screen. You touch it and select the target language to convert to. You also have the option of listening to the message by touching the speaker icon.
To reply to that message right on the WhatsApp app, tap New translation , enter the text of the message and copy the converted message and send it.
So you can easily send and receive messages in foreign languages without switching between applications. The great thing about the Tap to Translate feature is that it is not limited to only the WhatsApp app, but it can work on other apps like Facebook messenger , Skype , Hangouts, etc.
Any time you make a copy, the translation icon will appear with the option to translate from one language to another. This feature works even if your mobile device does not have an Internet connection. Currently, Tap to Translate is only available in the Google Translate app on Android devices. Hopefully this feature will soon be supported on iOS devices.
Good luck!
