How to block Zalo messages on mobile

Block friends in contacts

Step 1: Open Zalo on your phone, go to your friends list, click on the name of the person who wants to block messages. Then click on the 3 horizontal dots icon in the top right corner of the screen, drag to the bottom, slide the slider at Block this person to the right to block messages, calls from this person.

Step 2: A confirmation window appears, click Yes . Immediately appears blocking success message, that person can no longer send you messages.

Block strangers

Step 1: To block spam messages from strangers, click the Contacts tab , then click Suggest for making friends. Then choose who wants to block the message, then visit their profile.

Step 2: On the strangers' personal page, click on the 3 horizontal dots icon in the top right corner, drag the slider at Block this person to the right to block messages and calls from this person. Immediately after that appeared the Confirm dialog box , click Yes to continue.

Review your block list

Step 1: To review the block list, click on the 3 horizontal dots icon in the bottom right corner of Zalo's main interface. Then, tap the gear icon in the top right corner, select Messages.

Step 2: Scroll down to the Chat section , tap Block you from sending messages . Here you will see a list of people who are blocked and cannot message you. If you want to unblock just click the Unblock button next to the person's name, then click Delete to finish.
