Method 1: Enable guest mode through Local users and Groups
Step 1: From the main screen of the computer, left-click on the search bar Type here to search and enter the keyword " Lusrmgr.msc " and then select this item in the results shown.
Step 2 : The [Local Users and Groups (Local]) window appears as follows, left-click on the two Users entries on both sides, as shown in the picture.

In the Manage Accounts window, users see all their accounts. If you only have one Admin account and want to create additional guest accounts, click “ Add a new user in PC settings ” at the bottom. The Settings window appears.
In the " Family & other users " option, you can add accounts for family members by clicking on the plus in the " Add a family member " or for others in Other User , click on " Add someone else to this PC ”. Users can also add accounts for their children and take control of that account.
You do not need to add an email or phone number to the guest account. So, click on " The person I want to add doesn't have email address ".
Users also do not need to create Microsoft accounts for guest accounts. Click " Add a user without a Microsoft account ".
- Enter the username (Do not enter the word Guest in the username field because the window does not accept this word, you can enter Guest 1 or any name).
- Enter the password and enter it again.
- Select " Next ". After a few seconds, you can see your new account name in the settings window.
Restart the system, you will see 2 accounts in the bottom left corner. You can click on any account and log in.

Click the Search icon for magnifying glass on the Task Bar.
Type " netplwiz " into the search bar. Click on the netplwiz result found. You will see the User Accounts window.
You can view the Admin and Guest accounts in the User Accounts window. Check the account type in the Group column . Users can change any type of account. Remember, each type will have a certain privilege.
- Click the name of the account you want to change.
