There are 2 ways to install Foxit Reader as the default software:
Method 1:
When Foxit Reader starts up saying " Foxit Reader is not the default tool to open PDF files on the computer" then click OK to set the default.
Method 2:
Step 1: Open Foxit Reader, click on the FILE tab , select Preferences.
Step 2: Preferences window appears, click on Files Associations in the left column. Then, in the right pane, click Make Default PDF Viewer. Wait a moment for the system to set up automatically.
Finally, click OK to complete the setup process.
So now any PDF file can be opened with Foxit Reader. You can freely view, edit, manipulate PDF files with your favorite software.
