When we want to format or freeze different sections of text in a document, we often divide it into sections for easy implementation without affecting other sections. However, in reality there are many cases where we need to delete them to unify the formatting in the whole text, or in a situation where you have an error when formatting the text, it is likely that they have been broken by Section Break. . They are different formatted sections or segments within the same page or between multiple pages of your document. So we need to delete them quickly without having to search to delete them manually.
Implementation Guide
Step 1 : Open the text you want to delete > press Ctrl + H or go to the Home tab and select Replace .
Step 2: The Find and Replace dialog box appears > click the More button below to display the full features in Replace .
Step 3: Click on the Special button > then select the Section Break feature in the displayed list
Step 4: When finished selecting the Section Break feature in the Find what search bar , the ^b value will be displayed corresponding to the Section to be deleted. Then click Replace All to delete all existing Section Breaks in the text.
Word software will proceed to replace the entire Section Break contained in the Word document and notify you of the total number of Section Breaks to be replaced in the text.
With the above message, you just need to select OK to have successfully completed the Delete Section Break in Microsoft Word . With this way, instead of having to find each Section Break in Word and delete it manually, we can use the Find and Repalce tool to search for all Section Breaks in Word and delete them simply and quickly. .
