Recently Microsoft has launched feature on the tables turn images into Microsoft Excel for android named Data Form Insert Picture. That is, images containing spreadsheets will be correctly identified and converted into tables, the columns and rows will be adjusted quite nicely as you copy the table from another Excel file.
Note: this feature is in beta and will be available in a few months soon.
Perhaps this feature of converting images into tables has been long-awaited, now we can quickly take a screenshot of a spreadsheet somewhere and put it on Microsoft Excel to edit it effectively. You will not need to waste time uploading files or searching for the original Excel file, just the image of the spreadsheet will be solved perfectly and accurately to each digit. Office workers won't have to spend hours re-entering data. However, currently the Insert Data form Picture feature only supports Microsoft Excel on Android, those who use iOS will need to wait a while longer for an update on the App Store .

Instructions for inserting data from images on Microsoft Excel
Step 1:
Update your Microsoft Excel on Google Play or download the latest version of Microsoft Excel at the download link above.
Open the new excel file on the phone and press the Insert data from picture button with the camera icon.
Step 2:
Take your phone to the data table you want to capture to get data into excel, the application updates the data itself and is surrounded by a red border. Then press the shutter button as usual.
Step 3:
The image of the captured spreadsheet will begin to be edited manually to get the best shape, so use the image cropping tool to narrow the data so that they are as perfect as possible.
Click Done when you are finished editing the captured image.
At this point, Excel's AI engine will start processing the image and convert it into a spreadsheet. In the first update data, we will be editing the worksheet by selecting Edit or you can also skip if it is complete by clicking Ignore .
Step 4:
At the latest spreadsheet interface, click Insert to complete the process of converting photos into tables in Excel.
