To raise your hand to speak, on the main screen of the classroom, click the Reactions button in the menu bar below.
Select the Raise Hand button in the emotion panel that appears.
At this time, on the Zoom PC screen of the teacher or room owner, you will see an arm icon behind the name of the participant raising their hand.
After answering the question, the teacher or room owner can instruct the student to lower their hand by hovering over the student's name, then clicking the Lower hand button .
Raise your hand to speak on your phone Zoom
The method is similar to Zoom PC. On the classroom screen, click the ... More button in the bottom right corner.
Select the Raise hand button in the options that appear.
On the Zoom phone screen of the teacher or room owner, a hand icon will appear at the end of the name of the participant raising their hand.
After the student has finished answering, the teacher clicks on the student's name, then selects the Lower hand button .
Note that a student can only continue to raise their hand when the teacher has pressed the Lower Hand button for that student.
