Mac Technique: Make-up lesson in Milan

In the past few days we have had the great pleasure of participating in a real Mac makeup lesson in the new Pro Store in Milan, in via Dante. The new Mac store is the largest in Italy and represents the new beauty reference point of the Lombard capital.

An area dedicated to make-up courses is attached to the Mac store in via Dante . Here, together with other blogger friends we had the pleasure of discovering the secrets of the summer 2016 makeup trends under the guidance of the fantastic Roberta Betti , senior Mac make up artist.

Roberta presented the two macrotrend make up according to Mac for 2016: All and Nothing , which literally mean 'everything' and 'nothing', two moods in complete contrast.

NATURAL MAKEUP SUMMER 2016: NOTHING

It's called Nothing and places the emphasis on natural beauty, on the maximum expression of femininity thanks to a luminous skin , it is the most chic Mac Cosmetics makeup trend for summer 2016.

To create the Nothing look, we focus a lot on the face base, hydration, full eyebrows and a glowy effect, almost of light coming from within.

In turn, the trend branches out into three different categories:

The Face : corrections on the face are minimal, the skin appears smooth but natural, the lips are soft and the colors used are nude. The key product for this look Mac Prep + Prime Bright Forecast Highlighter , an exceptional liquid illuminating concealer;

Raw Refined : also called "social media make up", it is a type of rebellious make-up, which brings naturalness back to the fore by offering almost non-existent make-up. Also in this case the mood proposed by All Mac Cosmetics includes different looks to be discovered:

As already mentioned, we followed step by step the work of the beautiful Roberta Betti who explained the secrets of Nothing makeup to us. On this occasion, we therefore made up with Mac Cosmetics products, creating a natural make-up by us.

The ideal products to create this type of makeup are the aforementioned Mac Strobe Cream , the Mac Diva matte lipstick, applied lightly with the 217 Mac blending brush, intensifying it in the center of the lips, leaving the edges free, just like the fashion of season.

Also excellent is the In Extreme Dimension 3D Black Lash mascara and the Mac Feline black eye pencil: it lasts a lot and is extra black!

This is me, with my Mac Nothing trick! In this photo you don't notice much, but I defined my eyebrows with the Mac Plumage matte blue eyeshadow , at the suggestion of Mua Mac: I love the effect because this color slightly changes the nuance of my eyebrows without distorting them, creating a very interesting look , matched with my hair!
