What is Haptic Touch?

Haptic Touch is similar to 3D Touch. In some cases, 3D Touch will be a little bit better because it has pressure sensitivity, allowing programmers to create more options according to each pressure level on the screen.
However, 3D Touch needs the hardware sensor placed below the screen to feel the force generated from the user's finger, while the Haptic Touch does not.
That saves space behind the screen, manufacturers can take advantage of to accommodate other components (such as batteries) or develop other features.
Why did Apple remove 3D Touch to replace it with Haptic Touch?
The replacement with Haptic Touch also helps Apple save production costs and reduce product costs.
This, though not officially announced by the Apple family, but looking at the price of the iPhone Xs , iPhone Xs Max (using 3D Touch) compared to the iPhone Xr is enough to see our argument is correct (of course, also belong to many other components, not only 3D Touch hardware decides).
