Plot: Based on the game Truth or Dare (be honest or challenging), the filmmakers have created a pretty interesting horror movie revolving around a group of young people of different colors. During a jubilant party at a bar, a group of 7 beautiful boys and girls meet a guy named Carter and together enter an abandoned castle near the Mexican border to play Truth or Dare .

Because of this, they got a demon curse in that castle (because I heard English, I can't remember the demon's name clearly), forcing them to choose between telling the truth or being challenged. If they lied in their words or refused to take a challenge, they would be killed by the demon. The group of friends Olivia Barron (played by Lucy Hale) leaves one by one because of the cowardice in accepting the challenge or hiding the true thoughts inside.

When there were 3 people remaining, Olivia discovered that Carter was the one who dragged her group of friends into this terrible thing and only he could break the demon's curse. They return to the castle and perform the ritual to erase the original word but are prevented by the demon, even killing 2 more people. At this point, Olivia realized that the demon could not be destroyed and the curse existed forever, so she decided to livestream all the people in the world to be cursed and prolong the time she was challenged with Truth or Dare. .

The content of the film is relatively simple but not boring because the challenges always come to the victims suddenly and curious viewers do not know where the story will go. Movie theaters in Sri Lanka show movies without sub so WebTech360 cannot take her eyes off the screen because she has to focus on listening to each word to understand the content. Because WebTech360's English is quite bad, it turns out that the movie cannot be fully absorbed, but it just goes by quickly and there are no unexpected bottlenecks.

In terms of horror, the WebTech360 feels that Truth or Dare only creates an initial scary feeling with the creepy faces of the characters when being possessed by a demon and some scenes appear suddenly combined with a sudden scare sound. . The death scenes are quite simple and not very scary, so the level of intimidation of the movie only works for beginners to watch horror movies and after coming out of the theater, surely few people can suffer from the details in the movie. obsessive movies like IT or Annabelle.

The end of the movie Truth or Dare also suffered a lot of bricks when the main characters chose to cast the curse of the truth or challenge everyone through the livestream. WebTech360 thought that now that the writer accidentally raised the demon too strongly, the movie does not have an exorcist magician at all, such a solution can be sympathetic.

Acting: The  film is full of young, handsome and beautiful actors like other American high school movies. The most outstanding acting in the movie can only mention two girls Lucy Hale as Olivia and Viollet Beane (friends of Olivia). Lucy is a singer but also acts in many movies, especially horror films. Meanwhile, Viollet is quite familiar with her because she participated in CW's series of superhero hit series The Flash as Jesse Quick.

The two most beautiful girls in the movie, their acting is also the most expressive and also the most complicated relationship in the film. The very way of character building is quite complicated with many past stories between these two friends that make their roles, despite having a lot of land, still do not leave a strong impression on viewers. The rest of the characters each have a different personality and story, but in general they are still quite blurred because viewers can guess how this character line will act next.
