Step 1 : First, you need to download the NoteIt app to your device and install it.
Step 2 : Once installed, open the app, tap ' Sign up ' and create an account using your email and password (or tap ' Sign up with Apple ' to create an account that way).
Step 3 : Once the account is created, the user will be prompted to share their link code with another NoteIt user. Tap ' Share ', choose how you want to send the code and share it with anyone you want to sync notes with.
If someone invites you to use NoteIt, enter their code in the ' Already have your partner's code? ' and click on ' Link '. Both user's applications will be linked so that two people can use it.
Step 4 : From now on, using NoteIt is quite easy. To send a new note, tap the ' + ' icon in the top right corner of the screen and create any type of note you want.
There are a number of different tools available, including markers, brushes, pencils, erasers, rulers and lasso tools.
Step 5 : Tap the ' Save ' button when you are done with the note and just like that, the note will be sent to the other user. Usually, new notes appear immediately on the other person's phone, but sometimes it can take up to 15 minutes for notes to appear.
Step 6 : In addition to having to open the NoteIt app to see what the other person wrote, you can make it appear right on your iPhone's home screen. From the Home screen, tap and hold on an app or widget -> tap ' Edit Home Screen ' -> tap the ' + ' icon in the upper left corner, -> scroll down to the widgets page -> select size you want and tap ' Add Widget '.
In just a few seconds, the NoteIt widget will be updated to display the most recently received note on your iPhone home screen.
Tips for customizing NoteIt widgets
Adding a NoteIt widget is easy, but if you want to take full advantage of it, you'll need a few tips. In fact, you have two NoteIt widgets to choose from, including Small and Large. The first NoteIt widget to appear on the widget menu is Small. It takes up less space on the home screen but reading notes on it is not easy. If you want your notes to stand out, swipe left on the first NoteIt widget and select the larger style.
Additionally, tapping Add Widget is the easiest way to add NoteIt. Go to the first available location on the Home screen. Instead of tapping that button, press & hold the widget, wait a second, then drag it around the screen. This allows users to place the NoteIt widget exactly where they want it, instead of letting the iOS system choose.
