The only way to make the errors go away is to get the phone back to its original factory in order to make it lighter and faster. So how do we factory reset or reinstall software? Let's find out with WebTech360 !
Restoring Android settings to factory-freshness is probably more frequent because the Android operating system is often quite laggy and drains the battery after a few hours of use.
In the article below, I will perform on the Lenovo Viber K6 Note phone , running on the Android 7.1.1 operating system. And you can do the same on other phones running on Android 6.0 and up.
Steps to restore factory settings, reinstall software
- Step 1: Select settings in the apps panel to get started.
- Step 2: Go to the menu, scroll down to find Backup & Reset
- Step 3: In the Backup & Reset section, scroll down, select Reset to original data.
- Step 4: Choose Reset phone. In some other phones there will be a Factory reset line / Factory data reset:
- Step 5: The phone will ask you to confirm the pattern to unlock or PIN.
Then, you tick "Erase everything" for the phone to perform a factory reset. This will take 5 to 10 minutes.
Note: Erasing your Android device may take 10 minutes or more to complete, depending on the amount of data stored on the device or memory card.
