Plot: Maddie is a famous detective writer, but she is deaf and mute due to meningitis in her childhood. So she moved into a house in the remote country to get quiet for her writing. One day, Sarah-her best friend and neighbor came over to Maddie's house. When she returned, Sarah was killed by a sick murderer in front of Maddie's house without her knowledge. What did Maddie do when the villain was out there waiting to make her his next victim? Watch the movie to get the answer.

The genre is a bit like Don't Breathe for you (using tranquility to create tension in the movie). It only takes about 5 minutes for the film to go straight to the point, thereby gradually pushing the tension and drama to the high. The beauty of the movie is to place our deaf, mute girl in a house in the woods, facing a cruel murderer but she can't, scream or text and call for help by all means. His contact has been disabled.

Surely if you fall into Maddie's circumstances, you will also have the same thoughts and decisions as our main character made in the movie. Watching Hush (2016), I feel so tired (even though the movie is only about 90 minutes long), probably because of the tension in the film as well as the concerns about the characters. What will you plan to do next.

In terms of horror, the film is not too scary because of the fact that the filmmakers do not intentionally scare viewers with unexpected appearances. However, some scenes of blood or knife hitting windows make viewers imagine the horror coming from the above images and sounds, so there will be times when you will have to frown and close your eyes.

However, from the middle to the end of the movie, I felt a bit inhibited with the main character. Not knowing that because of her fear, in some circumstances, Maddie acted a little unreasonable, even if she took a risk and had a little high IQ, the killer had been "treated well" long ago. Besides, the ending episode is really too familiar, similar to many previous films, so I feel not very satisfied. WebTech360 thinks that the audience will have a lot of controversy around the two above issues.

Well, have you wondered why the killer murdered? The movie doesn't explain this, but we can vaguely speculate that the reason is because he is a sick villain, having fun with murder. What he did to Maddie was a lot like the fact that he indulged himself on a hunt that preyed on poor deaf mute girl. If you notice, you will see the number of people he killed, engraved on the bow, similar to how hunters usually do. A little spoil the movie, please sympathize.

In terms of emotion and humor, Hush has very little because they all have to give way to tension. The deadly silence has very few actors and very few lines, but the story is still portrayed very fluently according to every thinking of the characters. That's the good point of this movie. Sound: Because the movie title is about silence, the sound part of the film is not outstanding and impressive, instead, the film mainly focuses on the psychology and action of the characters. However, thanks to the aforementioned silence, it created a fertile ground for the "torture" phase of viewers' psychology to take effect, even though the film is not well exploited. As for WebTech360, every time I hear the sound of a knife clattering on the glass door, it makes me frightened. So, the sound part is 6/10 .

Acting: The deadly silence has a total of 5 characters, of which only Maddie played by Kate Siegel and the killer portrayed by John Gallagher Jr has the most land. In fact, the two actors excellently showed their roles, especially Kate because it both scared the audience after her and made them inhibit when watching her make her decisions. The role of the murderer at first was quite scary, but later on, he was a bit "bad", I don't know why. WebTech360 gives 6.5 / 10 for this section.
