The remote control of old Daikin air conditioner models before 2017 often has a sliding cover on the keyboard below and the screen has no light, always displaying parameters even when you have pressed the off button.

- ECONO button : Power saving mode.
- POWERFUL button : Fast cooling button. If you select fast cooling mode, you cannot turn on ECONO mode.
