How To Add Multiple Photos In Seesaw

One of the most common questions teachers have about Seesaw is whether it’s possible to add multiple photos. The feature was introduced in 2017, after numerous requests from teachers from all around the world.

You can now add up to ten photos into a Seesaw post. It’ll save you time and make the learning process easier and more fun. In this article, we’ll show you how to do it.

Which Device Should I Use?

You can add multiple photos to a single post using any device you usually use for Seesaw. The platform is very mobile-friendly, and you can do almost everything from your phone. We’ll now show you how to add multiple photos using the iOS or Android app, as well as the browser on your PC.

Add Multiple Photos Using iPhone or iPad

Whether you use an iPhone or an iPad, the process is the same. Just follow our guide, and you’ll get things done in a few taps.

1. Open the Seesaw app.
2. Tap on the green Add button.
3. Tap on Post to Student Journal.
4. Choose Camera Roll.
5. Tap on Add More.
6. Select all the photos you want to add.
7. Tap on the green checkmark at the top right corner of the screen.

There you have it! The photos should be uploaded shortly. Remember that you can add only ten pictures per post. If you want to add more, you’d have to create a new post and repeat the process.

If you’ve accidentally selected more photos, don’t worry because you can always deselect a picture. All you have to do is tap twice on the photo you’d like to deselect.

Select your photos in the order in which you want them to appear. If you want to change the order before uploading, just deselect the photos and tap on them again in the right order.

Add Multiple Photos Using Android

If you have an Android device, here’s what you have to do:

1. Open the Seesaw app.
2. Tap on the green Add button.
3. Tap on Post to Student Journal.
4. Tap on Upload.
5. Choose Photos.
6. Select all the photos you want to add.
7. Tap on Done at the top right corner of the screen.
8. Tap on the green checkmark at the top right corner.

That’s it! Deselection works the same as on iOS devices. For uploading more than ten photos, you’ll have to create another post.

Add Multiple Photos Using Browser

We’ll now show you how to upload multiple photos from your browser. It doesn’t matter what device you have or which browser you’re using. All you have to do is go to the Seesaw’s official website, log in with your credentials, and follow our guide.

1. Tap on the green Add button.
2. Tap on Post to Student Journal.
3. Tap on Upload.
4. If you want to upload photos from your computer, you can drag and drop them.
5. If you want to upload photos from your G-Drive, open it, and select the images.
6. Tap on the green checkmark at the top right corner.

There you have it! Again, the image cap is ten per post. To deselect a photo, you should tap on X at the top right corner of the picture. You can also move and rearrange the images the way you like it.

How to Add Caption or Voice Recording?

Did you know that you can also add a caption or a voice recording to your photos? When you upload a photo, click on Edit. Under the picture, you’ll see four options: Rotate, Audio, Drawing, and Caption.

Click or tap the feature you’d like to add. You can add captions that describe photos and short voice recordings. These features can make the learning process interactive and give further explanations to your students.

Voice recording is particularly popular among language teachers. You can record short sentences that your students can repeat to practice their pronunciation. Of course, you can listen to your audio before you upload it, to make sure everything sounds good.
