As a result, your account can quickly become cluttered with too many boards. Luckily, Miro made it easy to remove boards, allowing you to keep a neat overview of your content.

How to Delete a Board in Miro on a PC
There are two ways to delete a board in Miro. Both are pretty straightforward and require just a few clicks. The steps are identical regardless of whether you’re using the desktop app or the browser version.
To delete a board from the Miro dashboard, do the following:
- Tap the “Boards in this team” tab from the left sidebar.
- Navigate to the board you want to delete.
- Click on the three-dot icon in the upper-right corner of the board.
- Select the “Delete” option.
- Press “Delete” again to confirm the action.
Alternatively, you can delete a board while you’re viewing it.
- Tap the info card containing the board’s name in the upper-left corner.
- Press the “Delete” button at the bottom left of the pop-up window.
- Confirm the action by clicking “Delete.”
The deleted board will move to the Trash bin if you’re using a paid plan. The board owner can restore a board within 30 days after it was deleted. They can either restore it from the Trash bin or follow the board’s URL link.
Free plan users can also restore a deleted board, as long as they have its URL.
Only board owners and company admins with content admin permissions can delete a board in Miro. If you’re not one of the two, you won’t have the Delete option. Instead, you can choose to leave the board.
How to Delete a Board in Miro on an iPhone
The iOS app doesn’t support all the features Miro has to offer. Still, it can be a handy way to stay on the same page with your team even when you’re away from your computer. Among other options, it still indeed does allow you to delete a board while using your iPhone.
- Tap the “Boards in this team” tab on the Miro landing page.
- Find the board you want to delete.
- Press the three-dot icon next to the board’s name.
- Select “Delete board.”
- Confirm the action in the pop-up window.
You can also delete a board while you’re viewing it.
- Click on the three-dot icon at the top right to open the board menu.
- Tap “Delete board” at the bottom of the menu.
- Confirm the action by pressing “Delete” in the pop-up menu.
Note that the Miro app requires iOS version 12 or later. If your iPhone doesn’t support the app, you can always access the mobile web version.
How to Delete a Board in Miro on an Android
The Miro app for Android is the perfect way to stay in touch with your team on the go. You can use it to add ideas and leave notes and comments. You can also use the app to delete a board your team no longer needs.
- Go to the “Boards in this team” page.
- Navigate to the board you want to delete.
- Tap the three-dot icon next to the board’s name.
- Scroll down to the “Delete board” option.
- Confirm the action by tapping “Delete” in the pop-up window.
If you decide you don’t need a board while viewing it, you can delete it immediately. Here’s how:
- Click on the three-dot icon in the top-right corner of your screen.
- Tap the “Delete board” option at the bottom of the page.
- Press “Delete” to finalize the process.
How to Delete a Board in Miro on an iPad
Miro’s app for iPad allows you to create anywhere, anytime. The tablet app offers a broader range of options, including using an Apple Pencil to draw new design ideas and creating Mind Maps. However, deleting a board is just as simple across all the other platforms.
To delete a Miro board using an iPad, do the following:
- Go to “Boards in this team” from the app’s dashboard.
- Locate the board you wish to delete.
- Tap the three-dot icon in the top-right corner of the board’s card.
- Click “Delete.”
- Confirm the action in the pop-up window.
Currently, Miro doesn’t support deleting boards in bulk, so you’ll have to repeat these steps for each board you’d like to delete.
