1. Open the Skype app by using the Start Menu
You can find and open the Skype app in the Windows 10 Start Menu. Click Start, scroll down the list of apps until the letter S. There you find the Skype app shortcut. Click or tap on it.

Skype also starts automatically with the Windows 10 operating system. Open the system tray from the bottom-left corner of your desktop, and double-click on the Skype icon.

Right-click (or tap and hold) the Skype shortcut. In the menu that opens, you have the option to "Pin to Start." When you click or tap More, the menu extends with the option to "Pin to taskbar."

7. Open Skype using a telephone link in a web browser
Skype can be used to make telephone calls too. This means that, when you click a phone number in a web browser, you have the option of using Skype to place the phone call. Click or tap on Skype to select it, and then the OK button. Windows proposes that your choice will be permanent by marking the checkbox
