How To View Saved Snaps In Snapchat

Knowing where your saved snaps are on Snapchat can be handy when you can’t find them in your phone’s gallery or when you deleted them a long time ago. Snapchat stores all your saved snaps in its gallery, so even if they disappear from your phone, you can always log in to your Snapchat account, find them there, and re-download them.

How To View Saved Snaps In Snapchat

In this article, we’ll go through the process of finding your saved snaps on Snapchat. As a bonus, we’ll show you how to view saved snaps from an individual chat.

How to View Saved Snaps in Snapchat on an iPhone

Every time you take a photo via Snapchat and save the photo to your camera roll, it’s automatically saved in your Snapchat Memories. Even if you delete the photo from your gallery, it will still be on Snapchat until you delete it from there as well. Here’s how you can view your saved snaps on your iPhone.

  1. Launch Snapchat.

  2. Tap on the photo icon on the left side of the camera button.

Your saved snaps will be organized into four categories: snaps, stories, camera roll, and “my eyes only.” They will also be organized by date, so you can go all the way back to the first saved snaps you ever made.

Note that regular snaps and stories are not the same. Snapchat stories are just like Instagram stories. They’re on your profile for 24 hours. When they expire, only you will be able to view them in the Memories folder.

If you want to view the saved snaps you sent to one specific user (or that they sent to you), you need to go to your friendship profile on Snapchat. Follow the steps below to find out how it’s done.

  1. Open the Snapchat app on your iPhone.

That’s all there is to it. The reason you should check individual friendship profiles is because you might find saved snaps there that aren’t in your Snapchat Memories. After all, you will only find the snaps you took and/or sent to someone in the Memories folder. If you want to see snaps sent by someone else, you will only be able to find them on friendship profiles.

How to View Saved Snaps in Snapchat on a PC

It’s also possible to use Snapchat on your PC, but it’s slightly more difficult. This is because Snapchat can only be installed on iPhones and Android devices. The only way to do this is with an Android emulator. The most popular one is BlueStacks.

If you do manage to install Snapchat on your PC, this is what you should do to view saved snaps.

  1. Open Snapchat.

How to View Saved Snaps in Snapchat on an iPad

Just like with a desktop browser, it’s more challenging to install Snapchat on your iPad. However, it can be done. All you need to do is change the download filters in your iPad’s App Store settings. Once you adjust the filters to “iPhone only,” you’ll be able to download and use Snapchat on your iPad.

Snapchat works like an enlarged version of the iPhone app, so the rest of the process is pretty much the same. Here’s what you need to do to view your saved snaps.

  1. Launch the app on your iPad.

Keep All Your Snaps in One Place

With its creative filters and fun messaging tools, Snapchat allows you to make great memories for you and your friends. Every time you save a snap to your phone’s gallery, it will be automatically saved on Snapchat as well. Additionally, you can view other people’s snaps that you had saved on your friendship profiles.
