For iOS Users

If you’re an iOS user, you can only transfer your messages from one iOS device to another.

First, both devices need to be connected to Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, run on the latest Signal version (3.21.3 or later), and run on iOS12.4 or later. For iOS14, you need to enable the “Local Network” permission in your iOS Settings > Signal.

Your new phone should be in the same room and registered on the same number as the old one.

Make sure the camera on your old phone is functioning properly, as Signal will ask you to scan a QR code to link your devices.
