RAISED BRAID OR DUTCH BRAID
The raised braid is one of the most beautiful braids : it attracts attention because it is raised and creates a unique three-dimensional effect . The raised braid develops on the head and collects all the hair , it can be created in the center of the head but also diagonally. It is also called the Dutch braid .
The raised braid is often confused with the French braid which is instead 'flat' on the head, so it is less noticeable.

PROCEDURE FOR MAKING THE BRAID
Here is a summary of the steps to follow:
brush your hair well;
take a lock of hair present above the forehead, and divide it into three locks;
weave the locks by passing them under (not over);
proceed making the first weave;
add a lock of hair taken from the left side and join it to one of the locks by always passing the hair under;
carry out the same procedure also from the right side, taking one lock and joining it to the next one to pass under;
continue by picking up the locks from both sides and making the weave all over the head;
arrived at the end of the head, you have to proceed by weaving the remaining hair and always passing under the locks.
finally you have to stop the braid with an elastic.

The result is a simple and original hairstyle at the same time. To make the braid elegant, you can insert points of light or flowers that can be fixed to the hair with hairpins. In this way the hairstyle will also be perfect for a ceremony.
