How to take screenshots of the game screen on GameLoop
GameLoop supports gamers in capturing gameplay videos and screenshots while playing. This useful feature is often overlooked, but it can significantly enhance your gaming experience.

1. Steps to Take Screenshots on GameLoop
Step 1: Start the GameLoop emulator application on your computer and open any game you want to take screenshots of (e.g., PUBG Mobile).
Step 2: Log into your game account. You will see the main interface of the game. To take a screenshot, simply left-click on the Screenshot icon (a square with a plus sign) as shown below:
Step 3: After capturing the gaming screen, you will see a miniature effect on the snapshot.
In the upper right corner of the GameLoop interface, two options will appear:
- Open Image: Opens the current screenshot.
- Open Folder: Opens the folder where screenshots are saved.
Step 4: If you select Open Image, the image will be opened with the default image viewer on your computer. Alternatively, selecting Open Folder allows you to view all saved screenshots.
2. Change the Directory Path for GameLoop Screenshots
If you prefer to save screenshots to a different location, you can easily change the destination:
- Click the three dashes icon in the top right corner of the gaming screen.
- Select Settings.
You can also change the directory path from the main GameLoop interface. The Settings Center will open; select Browse... to set a new save location and confirm with Save.
3. Update for 2023
GameLoop Screenshot Location:
The default path for your screenshots is: C:\ProgramData\Tencent\TxGameAssistant\Snapshot.
- This location is in Program Data, not Program Files
- You might need to click on the Open Folder option the first time you take a screenshot.
- Create a desktop shortcut for easier access.
Additional Tips:
- Make sure to adjust folder properties to unhide the Program Data folder for simpler navigation in the future.
